Zahira College Kalmunai marked the end of the academic year for the GCE O/L 2023 batch with a vibrant farewell event titled "The Glorious Day" on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
The event, which showcased the exceptional talents of the students, was held under the patronage of the school's principal, Mr. M.I. Jabir.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. M.S. Sahuthul Najeem, Zonal Director of Education - Kalmunai, as the chief guest. Other esteemed guests included Mr. M.H.M. Jabir, Deputy Director of Education (Admin) - Kalmunai, Mrs. Asma Abdul Maleek, Divisional Director of Education - Sainthamaruthu, and Dr. M.H.K. Zanuz Kariapper, Secretary of the School Development Executive Committee (SDEC).
Students took the stage to present a variety of performances, showcasing their creativity, skills, and camaraderie. The event was filled with joy and laughter, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
The success of "The Glorious Day" was made possible by the collective efforts of the Student's Majlis, parents, Mr. T.K.M. Shakeer (Sectional Head - O/L 2023), and the dedicated teachers of the Grade 11 (2023) classes.
