We are excited to announce that Zahira College Kalmunai has made a remarkable comeback in table tennis!

Reintroduced this year, our students competed in the Under-16 age group at the inter-school table tennis competition held at St. Mary's College, Trincomalee, on July 23rd and 24th.

In their debut year, our team faced Trincomalee Hindu College in the first match and secured a memorable victory. This win propelled our school to the Quarter Finals, marking an impressive start for table tennis at Zahira College.

A special thank you to Principal MI Jabir (SLEAS) for his unwavering support and guidance, as well as Vice Principals and Physical Education Teacher MHM Musthanzir, who reintroduced and trained our students in this sport. We also appreciate MM. Rajeeb for assisting with transportation and the students for their excellent performance.

Our gratitude extends to the alumni for their support in acquiring the necessary table tennis board.
